I got lost the first time we touched
I know you're scared
I am just as much
As the questions linger longer
After we drift to sleep
As the words we whisper
Make their way into our dreams
You encapsulate words that weigh too much to speak
And as we breathe
Faster than we thought we would
Holding each other tighter
Than I thought we could
I get lost in the moments I am with you
Content to let your words define my day
So let's smile while have each other
And hold hands every chance we get
Let's not get lost in where we are going
Let these be the days we never forget
So sleep knowing that I love you
Wake up knowing nothing has changed
Know that I've spent all night
Just waiting to whisper your name
