You are my day dream
Find me in the park without sunscreen
And burn me with forever
Let me take you all in
Like a storm
Interrupting my regularly scheduled programming
With warnings of wind
And roars of thunder
You take me under
As the veins of your lights
Push my pulse to new heights
Turning the dial of my eyes
And the veil of my memories is redefined
Show me what it means to see new sights
Teach me what it’s like to see at night
Because I’ve seen storms before
But this is a different kind
I’ve read poems before
But these are different lines
For the rhythm of your rhymes
Has me convinced
You are heaven sent
And the message of your moves
Is hard to miss
It’s like a kiss
And I’d reminisce
But nothing compares to this
As one thousand drops make one sound
Find me in the park on the ground
And wash me away
Take me to the river where you’re headed
And never take me back
Wash me in your ways
As you roll through
If you’re wondering if I want forever
